CRS326-24G-2S+RM Switch chip features

Hi all !

Please help me find Switch-chip description for CRS326-24G-2S+RM.

Microtik Wiki - Manual:Switch Chip Features does not provide information on this platform, such as

• Which ports are included in the switch group (only ether1-ether5)
• How many switch groups can be set up (switch block diagram https://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/CRS326-170630155516.png contain 3 links for ethernet ports and one for sfp ports)

As it’s a CRS, i.e. a switch, it has one switch chip.

All ports are connected to this switch chip:

It is possible to combine the ports into 4 independent switch groups, in accordance with the number of links in the picture, or the group can be only one

Don’t think that’s possible, because there’s only one switch chip.

FYI, 6.41RC has a new bridge/switch chip implementation, where hardware offloading is used to accelerate switching/bridging when possible.

Haven’t tested it yet, and don’t know which specific circumstances need to be met for HW offload to kick in, but it may be possible to have 4 bridges and use HW Offload on them.

As the master-port, i can specify any of the 24 ether ports or any of the 2 SFP ports?
