CRS326-24G-2S+ starts SFP+ port flip

Hi,

I am experiencing problems with following simple setup:

From time to time I am experiencing NIC Link is Up/Down on the 10G connection between the server and CRS326.

NIC of the server was Mellanox ConnectX-3 CX312B and SFPs Intel FTLX8571D3BCV-IT.

I had replaced the SFPs with DAC cable - the same.

The setup works for a while and in few days dmesg on the server is filled with

NIC Link is Down

NIC Link is Up

Now I have replaces the Mellanox NIC with Intel X520-DA2 (tried with DAC and Intel SFPs) no big difference.

enp46s0f0: NIC Link is Up 10 Gbps, Flow Control: RX/TX

is prompted from time to time in server’s dmesg

I was using the CRS326-24G-2S+ with RouterOS till today, no I have changed to SwOS.

CRS326-24G-2S+ is used as a switch no configuration of the device is done.

After working for a week or two at some moment the situation is so worse that I need to reboot the server!

This is wrong settings, bug of incompatibility?

Thanks in advance !

Hi,

Try to set port speed manually to 10Gb instead of "auto"

There are some posts on it, eg. Which 10Gb adapter for server connected to CRS326

You can search forum for "10Gb flap" and check other posts.
