Hello. I have several CRS326-24S+2Q+RM and only one faults every time I reboot.
Mikrotik does not boot until it cools down (for example, a couple of minutes under the air conditioner and turns on).
The problem is in RouterOS 7.15.1 Stable and SWoS 2.16.
I reset Mikrotik via WinBox
I reset Mikrotik via “reset”
I re-install RouterOS 7.15.1 in Netinstall.
(did not help)
I used power boards from another mikrotik
(did not help)
Mikrotik gets a strong shock if you touch the SFP/Console/MGMT slot and, for example, the server. (If you remove the board and it does not touch the case - there is no such problem (happens ONLY on this Mikrotik and with any power supply))
Is this a hard problem and should I take it to a service center?
Generally speaking, you are describing two - possibly distinct - hardware problems, likely:
a cold soldering somewhere, when the device is slightly cooled down it makes contact, when it is (moderately) hot it doesn’t
a loss of isolation towards ground (probably in the power input area, if you get a shock) it could be a failed/failing capacitor or impedance
And yes, you should have the device inspected and hopefully fixed by a qualified repair service.
While the (supposed) cold solder should be not a serious issue (in the sense that in the worst case the device won’t boot) the shock towards ground is potentially a bigger one as it may cause other connected devices to fail or behave erratically (the leaked voltage/current must be a very small amount, otherwise the mains ground fault protection circuit should be triggered, still it is not good).
