QSFP+ to 4*SFP+ DAC Breakout Cable 1m
Ports 1 and 2: connected to LAN7 (SFP+ port) of a Supermicro SuperServer® 5018D-FN8T with X10SDVTP8F Mainboard running TrueNAS 25.10.6 on one machine and Proxmox 9.2 on the other one.
Ports 3 and 4: unconnected
Problem: After booting the switch the connections on QSFP+2 change between connected and unconnected multiple times on-off-on-off-on-off... It takes about 1...2 minutes for these connections to stabelize until the finally stay on and work just fine after that.
Notes:
On QSFP+1 there is another breakout cable (3m) with only the first port used (going to LAN7 (SFP+ port) on an supermicro X11SDV-4C-TP8F). This connection just works fine.
When connecting the two X10SDVTP8F via SFP+ cables to SFP+ ports the connections go up immediately. However, I need these ports for optical SFP+ modules (S+85DLC03D). So it seems not to be a server problem.
What's wrong? Cabling? I don't have a spare breakout cable. But with a bad cable the connection should drop also during operation, and this does not happen. RouterOS?
I haven't yet upgraded to 7.24.
