Check your disk usage. I’ve seen this happen on MikroTik devices with a 100% full flash.
It is not full, but very near…
I have deleted everything I could, anyway, so now we will see …

...you're right, they had better things to do but to bother with HW/SW stupidities.
So, the problem is detected on both 6.48.3 and 6.48.4 (both stable) versions of ROS...
