CRS326 unresponsive

Hi, sorry for being a newbie.

I recently installed and configured an RB4011 (successfully), works like a charm.

On a different site, I tried to do the same with a CRS326.
Set up the internet connection, updated the firmware to RouterOS 7, started to configure it, and all of a sudden (don’t recall the exact circumstances), I couldn’t reach it anymore.

I’ve tried the web interface as well as WinBox on all Ethernet ports. No dice.
I don’t have a Console Cable (yet, I’ll have one by end next week).

I’ve restarted it, I did the partial and full reset, to no avail.

Not sure what I did wrong, but I’m not happy that I was able to brick it by out-of-the-box means.

What are my options?

I’m beginning to think the upgrade to rOS 7.11 was a mistake … or was it?

Netinstall, use 7.11.2

Use ether1 as netinstall port.

Thanks, will try

And always use safe mode when configuring, even more when you don’t have physical access to the device.

That and remove one port from bridge, assing IP address to it, add it to the interface list and do your config from that port.

That way even if you screw something up you won’t get locked out of your router.
