CRS328-24P-4S+RM POE Problems

Trying out my first 328.

The POE seems kind of odd.
I had a Wireless Wire Not Power Up on one port but it did on another.

Then a UBNT CloudKey… plug it in and I get a “poe-out status: current_too_low” complaint. The unit won’t power up until I set the port to POE Forced On and Voltage High. The error still shows but it is powering up the CloudKey.

Anyone else seeing similar issues?

are you using SwOS or RouterOS? Which verison?

I did have an issue with one port not powering a device and just plugged it into another port and it worked. I thought maybe I hadn’t pushed in the connector properly.

I’m running RouterOS 6.43.7 on mine.

Routerboard firmware is 6.43.4 because I can’t reboot the switch.

Router OS 6.43.8. Matching firmware.

Try a power cycle on the port:

/ interface ethernet poe etherX power-cycle

Unit still won’t power up until I force POE to on. But the complaint in red is gone.

Hello I had the same problem. I’ve tried a lot of changes about POE and I haven’t succeeded.
What are the predictable reasons for this problem?
