CRS328-24P-4S-RM - zerotier package will not install

Hi,

I’m configuring my CRS328 and running into trouble trying to get the Zerotier package installed.

As much as I know, I have to
#1 copy zerotier package to the switch (files) = OK
#2 reboot the switch = OK
#3 have a new menu entry ‘zerotier’ = NO!!

The package will not install. The package is from the arm-zip-file. I’m running version 7.11.2.

What is it that I’m missing?

You are likely running into a problem of having too-little free space left to unpack and install the package. My CRS328-24P has 6% free space according to Files, and it has basically nothing extra installed. (Running 7.12rc2) I see the same symptom here, with a red message in the logs at system+error level when I try to install this package.

Yes, that was the case. Had to uninstall ‘The Dude’ - the only package I installed - and now zerotier installed as expected.

What about upgrading storage?
