We have a number of CRS354-48P-4S+2Q+ switches in our school. I noticed a few weeks ago one of our Hikvision PoE cameras had dropped off the network, and that the port on the switch it was connected to was powering on and off with error “current too low”. I tried what I thought was a working spare Hikvision camera on the same switch, and also on another switch of the same model and they also get the “current too low error” and do not power up/connect.
Is this a compatibility issue? Are these switches not capable of powering these cameras? They are standard 802.3af PoE cameras and as far as I can tell these switch conform to this standard?
