A brand new CRS520 switch, stopped getting link in QSFP28-16 port. Have a 100G AOC cable there, worked well before. After remove and insert don’t get link. The module works in other ports, and also in this port before. The port recognizes the module, prints all its info like manufacturer, eeprom etc. No errors etc, just get the link. Have restored factory settings also, no effect. The ports is enabled, tried disable←>enable cycle with no effect. What could do that?
Anything in the logging? What is it connected to? What exact cable are you using?
The port is connected to CRS510. But even when trying connecting this QSFP28-16 port to some other port on the same switch with passive dac, it doesnt get link. Doing the same with any other port pair works.
Nothing in the logs. Also when monitoring the interface, it detects the module is inserted, then autonegotiate, then no-link. The cable is fs.com active DAC cable, generic, and worked fine before n this port. Note the same cable works in all other ports, and worked in this port also before. I have also tried passive dac cable in this port, no change.
