CRS812 and sfp+/sfp28 (NZR) nics

Hi!
Is it possible in crs812 to connect 10Gbe sfp+ and 25Gbe sfp28 nics to the sfp56 ports using an sfp+/28 dac? (Do the sfp56 ports support NZR encoding?)

From specs I read

CRS812 interface speed support:
2x 10M/100M/1G/10G Ethernet ports
8x 1G/2.5G/5G/10G/25G/50G SFP56 ports
2x 40G/50G/100G/200G QSFP56 ports
2x 40G/50G/100G/200G/400G QSFP-DD ports
but it works through sfp+/sfp28 dac?

I would like to connect some connectx-4 lx nics…

Thank you in advance

Yes, you can use SFP+ and SFP28 DACs with the CRS812. S+DA0001, S+DA0003, S+AO0005, XS+DA0001 and XS+DA0003 are listed as compatible in the interface compatibility matrixes:

Just make sure to match the cable to the NIC as well. SFP28 DACs and transceivers will probably not work with SFP+ NICs, while SFP+ DACs and transceivers should work with SFP28 NICs.

Thank you psannz, I did not seen the updated documentation page :+1:

So it should be possible to use nics that use NZR encoding like the connectx-4 lx, obviously with the correct cable.

Sorry if I insist but I would like to get the CRS812 and given the cost I don’t want to make a mistake
