I want to set up LACP between 2 units of CSS326 switch. The ports are divided into three groups (octal A: ports 1-8, octal B: ports 9-16, octal C: ports 17-24). Assuming I want to use 3 ports on each switch for link aggregation, is there any benefit in using only one port per octal vs using 3 neighboring ports?
The question is related to the block diagram of CRS326, which is the closest block diagram I could find to my switches. There appear to be 3 PHY controllers, one per port octal. Perhaps I am reading something wrong?
