Custom Hotspot HTML redirection is not working on version 7.1 stable, Same file working perfectly on v6.49.2. After redirect the the page goes to “404 not found” and URL should be http://hotspoturl/login.

Try enabling arp on the hotspot interface.
If not try the 7.2rc1, but be careful losing ur data!

We have the same problem. Hostspot working OK on 6.48.6, stopped showing login page after upgrade 7 (and correcting OSPF and multi-wan scopes “litlle joke”).
Google didn´t help us in this, either.
Tried 7.1.x, 7.5 and 7.6beta6 with identical results.
Deleted hotspot and recreated, read and analyzed every firewall rule, seem OK
Webserver is alive at 64874, I allowed input to that port and can see the login page.
Is there any bug report about this or documented changes to do ? (couldnt find anything).
Else, any ideas of what else to check ?

If I try to visit any IP in from a range in /ip address it will redirect to the hotspot page, but not automatically like with v6
