Am into internet cafe biz , and am using Mikrotik router with web proxy enabled. The problem am facing now is that most my customers by-pass my hotspot logging page by input my router address and web proxy port to their Internet Explore lan setting. That is : Under Tool/Internet Option/Connection/Lan Setting/ Proxy Server:. For instance my local router ip is 10.1.0.1 and web proxy port is 8080. My client will input this into their browser and will allow them to have access to internet without buy voucher.
Please how can i stop or block it.
I do not use a web proxy, so that doesn’t work on my setup. I tried what you posted and my browser wouldn’t go anywhere except the login page. Once I logged in, it works, but not until then.
Maybe drop the web proxy until you figure it out?
Your network is not correctly configured, using the web proxy is not possible unless authenticated when using hotspot.

My network is properly configure. What i noticed is that i add my router Ip to walled garden in oder for local users to monitor their voucher. But when walled garden disable, customers cannot bye-pass the hotspopt. pls any solution this?
