Hi it guru, if i download new package to my mikrotik’s i was tired of speed line to mikrotik.com, for you i done simple Czech mirror on http://www.mikrotik.cz/mirror for downloading latest version of packages for my network. You can try downlod it from here too if you have a slow connectioon to mikrotik.com. Try it. :sunglasses:

too bad that the v3 stops at RC version. you should update it

On every platform is latest version 3.4 look better :smiley: there is change on filename by MT from version 3.0.

Let mikrotik do rsync access to their webserver so anyone can be a mirror :slight_smile:

We would like to be a Japanese mirror. Can you send details for rsync or do we need to download by hand?

We can either do FTP from our side if you give us FTP access to a folder, or you can download manually by HTTP and then just tell me the location.

We will look into Rsync also

Rsync, been setup yet?

Ive just noticed that my Mirror has stopped updating due to site changes at 3.20!

Will resolve this, however would like to know if im better spending my time setting up rsync…

for now use torrent file that contains all the routeros files.

We have question from czech customer.
Is any reason, why do you don’t upload zip packages to czech mirror? Our latest version is 5.0RC7.

In Bulgaria, we have almost most full mirror :wink:

We have explicit mirror http://sys-data.com/mirror/ last time used for quick upgrade for any version from 2.9.51 :wink:

MikroTik uses Amazon cloud hosting. It should be faster than any mirror.

But there are older version. National connectivity may be faster and cheeper for some downloaders. Otherwise amazon respect.

Using old versions will mostly give you problems. There is a reason we release fixes, you know :slight_smile: ?
