Date of last software downgrade

Hi all,

Complete newbie here. I have an RB750Gr3 and am wondering whether there is any way to determine if and when the RouterOS software might have been downgraded to the factory original version. My ISP is accusing me of changing the software of my router to an unsupported version and at this point I have no way to prove otherwise.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The question is unclear. “Factory” version means older version. Did you downgrade like they said?
Never downgrade, always upgrade.

My ISP is claiming that they do not support my version of RouterOS as it is not a version that they would have loaded on my router. Since the current version is the same as the factory version under System/Resource, the only possible explanation remaining is that my router was downgraded at some point in time after it was upgraded by the ISP. This is not something I have ever done, and I would therefore like to conclusively prove that the router has not been upgraded or downgraded since they provided it to me.

Is there any way that one can determine what the installation date of the current version of RouterOS is?

If factory version is the same as installed version you can’t downgrade, board might not work on lower version, some feature or some part was not supported.

I wonder, what is this mistical version that your ISP supports and what they doesn’t. And why?

Is there perhaps any way that I would be able to prove that I didn’t downgrade it back down to the factory version from some other version?

Probably not, at least I don’t know any. But what exactly is the problem? Why not upgrade to latest & greatest and live happily ever after?

Agree with Sob. Upgrade to latest version. I don’t see why ISP has to have any say in this.
