DDNS via cloud is not automatically updating

I have my routerboard setup to use ddns via services, cloud but the address is not updating automatically.

Can I change how often the router checks / updates the internet ip

I’m not using dyndns or anther ddns providor apart from Mikrotik’s own cloud service, which works well aprt from not updating as it should. I have got around the problem by creating a schedule script to “force-update”. This seems to have solved the problem.
