What do you guys use for DDOS detection and mitigation? There are alot of solutions out there that range from free to literally $500k. I was wanting to know what you guys use and what experience you have had with different solutions.

One thing to consider is which servers need to be exposed to the Internet.
Web servers that collect payment data should behind your firewall in a vlan so that
real users only can purchase time.
We get SYN attacts occasionally to our wifi routers. Mostly to ports 80 and 23. We don’t use those ports at
all and implement
port knocking techniques to restrict access.
When we see attacks we change the public IP
through our service provider.
