Dead or Not?

I have a hApax3 that doesn’t function. Powering up results in green lit led lights that go on and and stay on, regardless of whether a cable is plugged in to any of the ports.

Thanks!

Try to see if any traffic is on the wire ?

Connect to port 1 and run Wireshark on it, to see if you have any traffic on the interface on the device(router).

And if nothing, try to do a netinstall via the button on the unit.

Have you tried what chapgpt suggests? Even it asks for a better description of the symptoms.

Did this ever work?

What events happened since it worked?

ROS or RouterBOOT bootloader update?

Power issues or Thunderstorm with nearby lightning strikes?

Try to power the device while pressing reset, but release the button just when the led go on.

If it start, the upgradable RouterBOOT is corrupted,
justo go on system/routerboard to Upgrade (no mind if is the same version).
This fix it.

I have tried the various resets (factory default, Netinstall reset) and nothing changes the behavior.

Connecting any port of the hAP to another device does not produce an actual physical-layer link (i.e., a link light on the remote device).

Winbox does not see the hAP.

So... RMA or disposal...

Will be disposed of.

Thank you everyone.
