Dead RB800

I have an RB800 that continuously reboots. When I plug in a serial cable, it shows it booting properly, eventually giving a login prompt. However, you cannot type anything at that point. Then, the following message appears about 10 seconds before the reboot:

MikroTik Login: PowerPC Book-E Watchdog Exception

I tried using Netinstall to reload the firmware, but the RB would not show up in the window as being available. Is the RB800 salvageable?

try to use the latest netinstall and check the serial console what does it show when it is booting netinstall.

I used Netinstall 5.1. It just tries the bootp protocol for a period of time and then says “kernel loading failed”. Then it restarts and tries again. Only Ether2 shows a link when I plug a cable from my computer into it.. Ethers 1 & 3 appear to be dead.
