How to assign Dedicated speed to some one..I mean to single IP.

I am having 2 MBps and i have distributed it to some of my customers, But i want to give 512kbps up/down to one single IP at all the time.

Which is the best method

you can create a simple queue and give the higher priority than other queues. This can help.

I think Simple queue will NOt work as my distribution is more than the Aquired bandwidth.

What about Queue Tree

I think priority is enough ! isn’t ? how u did it ?

make 2 parent queue
1 for dedicated bandwidth 512kbps.
2 another for 1536kbps, and make childs from here as many as u need.




i think it will solved ur problem
