I have a couple hotspots on one RB750G.
I’d like to know if I have the right hardware (to start) to dedicate/guarantee a 5 meg uplink to one customer.
I’m new to vlans and believe that’s what’s needed.
Attached is a diagram of what’s in place.
Suggestions as to whether I have the right hardware or a managed switch is needed upstream of my router.
If I do add a vlan for the one customer.
Or can I just add a “profile” and dedicate an IP outside of the hotspot dhcp range?

add the mac-address of the server you want to bypass the hotspot under ip bindings, and set it to bypassed
I didn’t thoroughly describe the network.
But, I have a queueuing and simple queues with differnet speeds to differnet target cleints.
I have a 30x5 connection.
I need to make sure that the one pc/user gets all the upload (5meg). I believe one way would be to completely minimize everyone elses upload speed to basically nothing.
but, my question again is how to be sure to get 5 meg up to the one device.
Should I create a different profile with 5 meg up and give the mac and ip address of that device to the profile.
If I bypass the device with the mac how does one allocate a profile to it?
And doing a vlan which I don’t know how to do and whether or not I need a managed switch upstream and down stream at each end of the WDS wireless bridges.
