default route is Invalid

I have searched the forum and the docs but cannot figure out why my default route is showing “IS”

the router only has 1 default route and it worked until yesterday. Actually the router is using the route but it is listed wrong

can anyone give me a list of reasons mikrotik would invalidate a route?

Try hitting F5 to see if it refreshes and displays correctly. They removed the refresh icon and now in 2.9 it doesn’t always autorefresh like 2.8 did.

not sure what more to post.

I have 1 default route

0.0.0.0/0 >>64.x.x.x

but the route shows Invalid. but it IS working…

I can log in and customers can access the web it just concerns me that it says it is IS (invalid static)

I have seen this once before in a MT router - have you replaced or added anything to the MT lately?

I had to replace a NIC card in mine and all of a sudden the issue you have, the IS route, showed up.

It turned out that the NIC card had to share an IRQ with the harddisk controller in the slot it was in… There were 3 other unused IRQs but for some reason in that slot the BIOS made the NIC share an IRQ…

I moved the NIC to another slot - no problem with IS routes showing up…
