default route with RIP

I can’t seem to get RIP to redistribute the Default route to other routers. Does anyone know how to do this. I have it setup in the main Mikrotik and that mikrotik set to redistribute static routes but it will not show up in the other mikrotik.

I think restribute static is not teh same as default (in ospf anyway)

Have you got distribute default turn to always?

Where do you turn that on at? There is no place to turn on redistribute default in the Rip Setting.

I use Winbox 2.9.38 with routeing-test, it is there :slight_smile:

Ok. Then the regular routing package doesn’t have it. I will have to update to the Routing test package.

My next problem is I can’t find a routing-test package for router boards. Do you know where I can get one? I can’t seem to find it on their site.

If you look under package is it listed but greyed out (in winbox)?
