denying extensions

dear all

if i deny extensions in the webproxy, sure it will stop downloading it.
but my question is, will it also deny these extensions downloaded by p2p softwares? or only the downloads from the http & ftp??

I think it will depend on the PTP itself.
But most of the time, PTP will use different way,
so you can not filter it using web-proxy.
