Deployment Guideliness 400+ suscribers at tech conference

Hello

I’m organizing a hackathon for mobile developers with 400+ wireless device. Could you please recommend guideliness about equipement,setup?

Area : 6060 ft²
Suscribers: 200 Developers, 400+ devices (smartphone, laptop, tablet,etc)
Ussage Needs: web, social media , e-mail
priority low needs: video streaming sites , music streaming , p2p, downloads
isp: 20 Mbps :frowning:

i was thinking on:

  • Mikrotik x86 lv6 hotspot, user manager , profiles
  • ubiquiti Unifi equiment (2.4 Ghz)

Avoid ubiquity.

Use 433AH with 2.4GHz(n) and 5GHz(a). Use the minimum power possible. Use PCQ queues.

There was some 3rd party testing of APs recently, Ubiquity UniFi broke down with the least number of clients first.

A single Ruckus AP could actually handle that if you believe their specs, but a couple of Ruckus units if you want to do it well, or even 10 or so 751’s running low power. Clearly, keep the APs wired, not wireless, run them on seperate channels.

por que Unifi no debe ser tomado como una opcion?

Después de leer esto http://goo.gl/LHgch pienso que necesitare al menos 13 ap (30 usuarios por AP) , no estaría desperdiciando el 433AH al usarlo solo como ap?

Sabes tu cual es la capacidad en usuarios que pudiera soportar solo un 433Ah?
