Hello folks. Just starting messing around with The Dude recently and I’m having some trouble figuring out what might be the problem.
So I ran an initial discovery and I have my list of devices currently on my network. The Dude is set to rescan every 10 min. Besides those rescans I’m set up so that I receive email alerts if any devices on the network go down or come up.
The problem is that I don’t seem to be receiving emails for NEW devices that come up on the network. I brought up a PC recently that I’m rebuilding (it wasn’t on the dude network map because it hasnt been on in awhile), I fired it up logged in, nothing. (With devices that are already on the network on the device list I get an email alert immediately if their status changes). Then during the next scan the device was quietly added to the devices lists… still no alerts.
Is there a setting I’m missing?
