Looking for advice on total end user device capacity of MikroTik 3011. We have a network with a single 3011 at core, 6 Gb Hex Boards to about 12 Gb capable Access Points. Just simple routing of mobile devices, no vlans, no traffic shaping, simply getting them online. How many mobile devices should/could this 3011 handle (we have plenty of AP capacity but just assume each devices is allowed up to 10Mbs). Keeping in mind they are never all on at the exact same time. We have a 1Gb ISP uplink.
