i am not sure which Mikrotik device is the right one for me. I hope someone of you can help me.
I use a Routernoard hEX PoE lite as central router for my network. For wireless devices the hAP ac is the access point. The wireless network is covering 90% of our house. The hAP ac has a wired connection to the Routerboard.
I‘m searching for a mikrotik device which can extend my wireless network. This device needs to extend the wireless network without a wired connection to the routerboard because I can’t place a lan cable in the room for this device.
Do you know which device is the right one to solve my problem?

The link to the WDS Mesh tutorial helped a lot. Thank you very much. I configured an additional hAP ac as mentioned in szenario 1. At the already existing hAP ac I configured the wireless interfaces the same way and the wireless network is now covering all areas.
If I want to connect a new device via LAN cable to the new extending hAP which is extending the wireless network, is it correct to add this device to the Mesh network? There is no wired connection to the LAN at this hAP.
