Device onClick functionality

Hello everyone,

I have several locations that I am monitoring with the Dude, and each site has its own network map. I would, however, like to create one network map that shows the WAN interface of every mikrotik I have (regardless of site), and when I click on the device, rather than opening the properties for that device, I would like it to take me to that locations network map. That way, if I see a router go down, I can just click on the now red icon and see that sites network map, rather than having to click on the correct network map myself. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thank you.

I am not exactly sure what you are asking but here is what I did…

Make the TOP map contain only submaps (no devices), place all devices on submaps. This way you can select any interface from any device on any submap on the TOP map to connect things together. Then connect submaps together to create the LAN and WAN view with links between submaps on the top map.

Do not however add a submap inside a submap since the outages are not reflected to the top map(a bug or feature).

HTH,
Lebowski

lebowski,

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Sorry if my explanation was not clear enough. That is what I get for posting at the end of the day, hehe. Thank you once again! I can’t believe I missed that option.
