I have removed from each device services which I don’t want probed and left ping only and on server settings>discover>services>services to discover>ping is the only service I want to probe but yet after a period of time I find other services are included in each device for probing?
You will have to look at auto discover and un-select services for that map or maybe even disable specific services globally.
I don’t use auto discover so you might need to poke around but auto discover is what adds probes to devices automatically.

I have unselected on each device all services that i don’t want and running discover on each device it just lists ping which is correct for me but when i check back devices have extra services listed ?
Yeah, but did you do that inside the global auto discover or on each device type or on the settings per map… There are several places where services are allowed to be added, I think if you click “settings” right below preferences, discover tab, services, un-select those, that is Global in context so that should turn off the services you don’t want automatically added. IMO you should have a really good reason you need auto discover since it can do “interesting” things.

I removed from Contents panel Probes all the services I don’t want also from devices services the probles listed there but yet probes and devices i deleted come back later, is there not a “save current configuration” option with dude?
