Devices does not see the wifi

Hey!
I have a 3G / LTE modem Huawei E3372h-153 modem connected to the Mikrotik RB912UAG-5HPnD-OUT.

I set it up for a long time according to the instructions that are on the Internet. However, the Wi-Fi mode couldn’t be done. Wi-Fi connection. It simply doesn’t exist. What is the problem?

Thanks in advance.

More precisely, I wanted to say that gadgets do not detect it. However, my laptop sees wi-fi

When you say gadgets, are you talking about some (cheaper) smart home devices?
Fewest of them support 5GHz WiFi and have 2.4GHz interfaces only.

Check the channel, some devices do not see 2.4g wifi channel 13 (e.g. Kindle Paperwhite)

depends on country setting: ex us is limited to 11 I believe. eu has 13

Indeed.
When I unboxed a new LG G6, it didn’t see WiFi AP on channel 13. After I put in SIM card and it registered to mobile network, it obviously discovered it was in Europe .. and it started to see the “invisible” AP.

Thanks for the answer. However, it does not work. Maybe I made a mistake somewhere in the settings. Tell me, how can I show you a log or some kind of report so that you watch it?

As all other responders didn’t realize you have a 5GHz model, I still stick with my theory that your gadgets support 2.4GHz only.

post the output of

/interface wireless monitor wlan1 once

and the datasheet of one of the affected gadgets.

I have a phone xiaomi redmi 4x

And here’s your problem.
Your phone doesn’t support 5GHz WiFi: http://en.miui.com/thread-623020-1-1.html
-Chris

Yes, I see that this is so unfortunately. TV earned at 5GHz
Tell me, is it possible in manual mode how to set the setting to 2.4GHz?

This radio interface supports 5GHz only.
You could add a 2.4GHz card to it , this one will surely do well: https://mikrotik.com/product/R11e-2HPnD
Add two MMCX pigtails and antennas and you have a decent dual-band AP

-Chris

I understood. Thanks you.
