I have attempted to enable DFS on a RB532 with an SR5 card. Every time I enable it the link goes down and does not recover. Is this feature supported on all cards ? if not which ones. I need to get this operating to conform with local regs. Presently I have just programmed the few we have to by pass the radar band that is allocated for this area.
It is likely selecting a frequency which doesn’t cut it, like 5180, since there will be almost nothing there (in addition, the SR5 will scale back it’s power, and your antenna patterns will likely become strange).
Try listing the frequencies you know work (try them manually, first), in the “scan list” field, before turning DFS on.
