DFS Frequencies in v4.x

I have a RB411AH with XR5 radio running as an AP. I want to be able to use DFS with radar detect for this access point. The clients are Tranzeo TR5a and SL5 radios. When running in DFS with radar detect, the MT AP starts scanning at 5175-5325 and does not include the 5.4 range at all. The Tranzeo radios DFS frequencies range from 5275-5325 and 5495-5705.

I’ve got frequency mode set to Regulatory Domain and Country set to United States. I’m wondering is this a bug in the 4.x software that’s not adjusting the frequencies based on the country selection or if DFS is just not fully supported on the MT platform. Any advice would be great. Thanks

MikroTik RouterOS goes trough the channels included in scan-list of wireless. When scan-list=default it uses regulatory domain settings, scanned frequencies are displayed by /interface wireless info print.

Here’s my current config:

Scan list is set to default, but not obeying the regulatory domain. Do i have to setup a manual scan-list? Is 5495-5705 support on the MT?

Set your country and frequency-mode=regulatory-domain, if 5400 range is included, it will be scanned then.

I have set my country and regulatory-domain, and i still get all the frequencies. I should have the 5400 range as it’s available in the US with DFS radar detect. It’s almost like the MT isn’t reading the country or regulatory-domain settings.

Post your configuration from /interface wireless export.

You can manually set the range of frequencies to scan, configure scan-list=5400-5500, then only the specified range is scanned.
