DHCP Accounting Accepts the client without authenticating

If I set the use Radius to accounting in the DHCP server option the clients get an IP without authenticating from the radius first.

When I have it to YES (not accounting) new clients get an Access-Reject and don’t get an IP. radpostauth table of the Radius gets rejected entries.

The moment I change it to Accounting the same client gets an IP and gets registered in the radacct table of the RADIUS but nothing on the radpostauth when I believe it shouldn’t authenticate and get an IP

yes - use RADIUS for accounting and lease;
accounting - use RADIUS for accounting only.

so according to documentation it is correct.
My bad …

Yes will do both

do you know if there is an option to count the dynamic simple queues by dhcp and radius?

sabes si existe una opcion para contabilizar las colas simples dinamicas por dhcp y radius?
