I have a Raven EVDO modem with a static IP from Sprint. When I connect the modem directly to my computer I leave my machine set to dhcp and the modem passes the static ip address to my computer.
When I connect the modem to my Mikrotik router and enable dhcp-client, the modem passes the ip address and creates a default route, but the route is blue and it dosen’t work.
If statically set the IP address and default route for the raven in the Mikrotik router it works fine. Both methods the settings look identical, except for the inactive default route.
Any insights?
