DHCP keep alive

Hello,

I saw that my provider send me every minute a UDP packet.

C | dhcp-server:67 | my_WAN_IP:68 | 17(udp) | 0bps/0bps | 700byte/0byte

Does the DHCP server make a lookup if my WAN-port is still alive?
Can I affect the time beween two of these packets?

The relpying bytes for this incoming connection stays on 0 Bytes, maybe I could block such requests from the dhcp-server - or will I then loose my WAN IP after some time, because the dhcp-server thinks that my modem is gone offline?

When I renew the dhcp-release I see this connection:
SC | my_WAN_IP:68 | dhcp-server:67 | 17(udp) | 0bps/0bps | 328B/328B

noone? :frowning:

I advise you to ask questions like this to your provider or in a forum where users of your provider visit.
It is not a question related to MikroTik.

ok, thx.
