DHCP Offered Issues

I have a few clients that keep complaining that their laptops are not connecting. In DHCP → server → leases i can see the problem clients have their dhcp status as offered and a 30second counter…

many of them since they are windows XP laptops will keep disconnecting from wireless and reconneting..i see this too but the only thing that happens on the DHCP router side is they keep getting “offered” and the 30 second time out.

I’ve never seen this before 2.9.25 this router is running 2.9.27

also i have a router at home that started doing this too..2.9.27 but this time it only happens to this cisco 1900 switch that gets it IP via DHCP..

any ideas?

There was a DHCP bug that was introduced in one of the later versions of 2.9.xx I thought it was 2.9.33, and fixed in 2.9.34..

Maybe try upgrading to the latest stable release?
