Unfortunately that popular operating system for light home tasks and gaming does not handle the case where the default LAN is untagged but there is another network as tagged VLAN (which it should ignore) very well....
It depends on the manufacturer of the ethernet cards, e.g. Intel seems to be OK but Realtek is not.
