DHCP Relay over wireless bridge

OK so here’s the scenario. I’ve got my core network with the RB1100 working on 5 subnets. I have two SXT-5D’s bridging traffic between each other to be a back haul to another location. The wireless part is working great and passing traffic between the two is great but I don’t seem to have DHCP offer packets coming from the RB1100 to the other end of the back haul.

…so

[rb1100 DHCP Server] —wired—> [48 port switch] —wired—> [sxt-5d receives DHCP] —wireless—> [sxt-5d no DHCP received]

Do I need to actually setup a DHCP relay on the sxt-5d which DOES receive the DHCP? I was thinking that was a lower layer protocol and since traffic is actually bridged and working fine as a static that it would see the DHCP packets…

ahh nevermind… my fat fingers put the dhcp-client on the wrong interface (eth instead of bridge)
