I am pretty new to RouterOS. I want to have implement a few things but had hard time. So I wanted to have your ideas and implementation solution. Please see attachment.
What I want is:
- The interface with PoE needs to have its IP from ISP (dhcp client)
- “Device that needs IP” needs IP from local DHCP server. That device will change, so every new device that will connect to port 2 should have a different IP (which come from DHCP server I guess ? )
- Host’s IP remains as is. It needs just one time IP that could be dynamic or static (which might be given by DHCP ?) . Any ideas here ? Which one would be suitable and how ?
- Only host can communicate with ISP. So there would be a forwarding ? “Device that needs IP” may not connect to ISP directly.
- Host and “device that needs IP” can connect to each other. So “device that needs IP” can only connect to ISP over host.
What kind of topology should I follow ? Any help is appreciated.
