DHCP server giving out huge lease times

I’ve noticed that a new MT Hotspot we setup has a bunch of leases from the DHCP server with lease times greater than “220480” hours. Yes, 220,480 hours to expire. The lease time in the server settings is currently at 24 hours, but I’ve tried many settings between 1 hour and 24 hours. Has anyone seen this or know how to prevent it? I have no idea what types of laptops or PDAs are generating these leases. Currently running 2.8.26 with Hotspot enabled on the second ethernet port of a 3 port s0ekris board. The router itself is running fine.

It is related to clock changes. It is already fixed in version 2.9. Right now it only happens if you change the system clock while somebody is connected

Ah, thanks Normis. That makes sense as this is a new deployment and we’ve mucked with the clock a few times lately. I hate to ask this, but is this fix going into the next 2.8 release as well? There are already other fixes for the upcoming 2.8.27 we are eagerly awaiting

yes, this will be in next 2.8 too.
