Hi there,
I’m having a peculiar issue that I’ve now seen on two different routerboards. To fix the issue on the first one I basically had to netinstall it and reload the config.
Essentially the DHCP server runs fine for a period of time, and then after some unknown trigger it goes into an “I” or Invalid state. I don’t know what causes this and I can’t see anything wrong with the config. It affects all DHCP servers running on all interfaces. I’ve tried removing the config and re-doing it. I’ve tried upgrading from ROS 6.38.5 to 6.39.1 and it still happens. I’ve submitted sup-out.rif files to Mikrotik previously and again now. Hopefully they can see something.
I’ve tried disabling the dhcp package, rebooting and enabling it again. After this I configured DHCP again.
I’ve tried uninstall the dhcp package, rebooting, install and enabling it again. After this I configured DCHP again. It still would not move past Invalid.
Is anybody else experiencing the same problem? Any suggestions on how to overcome this should it happen again?
