I’m a beginner to using Mikrotik routers. I have a CRS125 with Router OS 6.9. Our internet is through Comcast metro Ethernet. They’ve provided me with the static ip address. I’ve put that into the router’s Quickset page and was able to get internet through the router. I was told by Comcast that I need to specify a port on the router with a specific IP address and have that port connect back to their switch which is directly linked to our remote location. However I’m having a hard time setting this up on the router. Also I’ve created a dhcp server on slave port 9. However when I connect a device to that port, it’s only pulling the dhcp addressing from the master port2. The wan is connected to ether1. I hit a brick wall and do not know how to get past this. I can login to the router using webfig or winbox. I have to get this running asap as I have staff starting work at these location in two days. Please help.
