Dear all,
would a CCR1036 handle DHCP-serving 30x /16 networks with up to 10000 leases/s in peak?
It would have no other duties, just DHCP.
Or would that also work in a decent vm?
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks,
-Chris

I don’t have experience with this, although my concern would be the high volume of writes to the flash disk. I do believe you can change the interval; /ip dhcp-server config store-leases-disk
Personally I would lean towards running your DHCP server in CHR on a VM. Would imagine this is also more cost effective and allow you to put the CCR1036 to better use ![]()
