DHCP User manager help

I have set up a DHCP server on a 150 and usermanager on another 150 connected by a switch. All are on the same sub and can see each other.

The when the PC attempts to get an address get a bunch of entries in the log indication failure because “Radius Server is not Responding” the log on the Radius board show no attempted connections. So the dhcp request are being diverted to the radius server but it is not seeing them. Set up is as per the Wiki. Any tricks? this should be simple enough but it is not working and I don’t see a reason for it.

Any help would be great.

Make sure you have used 127.0.0.1 as IP address of the User Manager/DHCP router.

Been there done that, tried it both on the same box and on separate boxes. The log shows a request and a rejection. Passwords, users, etc are all the same and correct. Still no auth.

I know of one undocumented (that I could find) issue that I stumbed across is that the MAC address in the record in the user manager MUST be in capital leters.

The examples in the docs use MAC’s which happen to be all numeric… Alpha charachers must be caps.
