On my Microtik router, under the dhcp section, I ticked the enabled box and hit apply…and it just reverts back to its old setting. No settings will stick. I cant enable…disable…change ipaddress scope anything…im desperate please help!
Make sure you are using IP Winbox (the latest Winbox version).
Try to access the router by SSH/Telnet and apply the same command. The latest MikroTik RouterOS version should be used too.
I’m useing the web gui, I’m not super familiar with the product. It just seems strange to me that this would happen. I’ve worked on alot of routers and I’ve never seen this happen. When I click enable, then apply nothing happens. But, if I make a address lease static…that will stick.
what is the cmd for enabling dhcp?
