Hi,
here is my configuration:
Metal 2SHPn as AP Bridge.
ether1 port is wired to ISP.
The wlan1 port is an access point for clients to attach and access the internet.
i have bridge with masquerade setup between ether1 and wlan1.
it is working and clients connected to the wifi (wlan1) can browse the internet except they directly connect to the ISP subnet. they get served IPs from the DHCP server on the ISP network.
I would like to setup as router and have DHCP client setup on the ether1 side; and DHCP server with different subnet setup on the wlan1 side.
I tried numerous times, but when I attempt to setup DHCP server on the wlan1 side it shows in red and it wouldn’t work.
obviously I’m doing something wrong.
