Looking at the manual for driver support, i could not find any reference to the new atheros AR5005GS chipset. Does mikrotik support it? Have anyone tried?
I did my own research on this chipset, which dlink’s dwl-g520, encore 108mbp/s, trendware tew-443 and others use and the chipset will be reconized and WILL work in any 2.9.x version.
The real manufactor is cameo eletronics http://www.cameo.com.tw in taiwan which brands then to other resellers.
I hope this info will help.
I hope someone from mt will read this and update the docs refering to the wireless drivers avalible.
AR5006 works fine with MT i think urs should work
