Dear Support
I really need help here …
My network is the following
Mikrotik RB1200 + Local sharing server(Gigabit LAN) with 18TB of data connected to RB250GS as a core switch giving 3 Gbps branches to another 3 RB250GSs which in their turn give 12 100Mbps branches to maximize DataRate performance (You get me right ?)
I do this because i want to maximize the efficiency of my network giving internet through hotspot and local file sharing through my branched network to my clients
All cables are CAT5e certified cables (below 100 meters) , All switches are supplied with stabilized electricity all Gigabit ports are working fine
I have 400 Hotspot clients with IP config 10.0.0.2-10.0.1.254 / Gateway 10.0.0.1 subnet 23
All my RB250s are 1.6 updated before deployment … all are working with default configuration
some of my RB250s are connected to UBNTs nano 5 as bridges to remote locations. ( i think this is not a big deal)
All seems fine right ?
THE problem is : after few hours my network goes crazy
I get high latencies to customers , slow internet , very slow or no sharing connectivity .
And sorry for being too long but i have a question :
Could mikrotik switches handle this network ( no vlans .. no any thing .. just switching ..) ?
or shall i go with 3com 8port Gigabit switches as i was working at the beginning before migrating to mikrotik GBs
I forgot to mention that i see thouthands of pauses on Gigabit and some 100Mbps ports on the switches, is that normal ?
I really would be grateful if you helped me as fast as you can .. i always trust mikrotik and i hope i’m wrong..
Thanks
